Physicist Michio Kaku to Talk Future of Humanity at Chicago Event

Physicist Michio Kaku inspires audiences everywhere with his ability to explain the science and technology behind space. He will present in April as part of the Chicago Humanities Festival Presents Series. 

Kaku's event on April 11 at the Music Box Theater will touch on the future of humanity. He will address topics such as terraforming Mars, star travel and shedding corporeal form.

The majority of Kaku's current speaking engagements are based on his newest book, "The Future of Humanity: Terraforming Mars, Interstellar Travel, Immortality and Our Destiny Beyond Earth." He also serves as a professor of theoretical physics at City College of New York and CUNY Graduate Center.

Kaku is the author of four New York Times bestselling books. He has hosted television programs about science for the BBC, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel and the Science Channel.

Kaku has published over 70 articles in scientific journals. Currently, he is the host of the online web series, Next World with Michio Kaku.
