Technology entrepreneur Peter Diamandis knows when he is on to something big. He has recently been promoting his new event, which is expected to be one of the biggest conferences of its kind.
The Abundance 360 Summit takes place March 26-27 in Dubai and it will be a highlight for those in the exponential tech field. The two-day event sets off a year-long program for entrepreneurs, C-level executives and government officials.
Last month, Diamandis visited the Emirate and spoke to Entrepreneur magazine at the Capital Club Dubai about what to expect. He said the main objectives of A360 Dubai is to summarize what technologies are coming to help your business, help you connect with what is meaningful and show you how to extend your life 20 years.
"At the end of the day, it's about giving you hope and it's about giving you tangible ways to use these technologies," said Diamandis. "If you're not paying attention, these are the technologies that are going to put you out of business or allow you to transform your business. My goal is to make it meaningful, usable and impactful for you."
Diamandis founded and serves as executive chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation, which creates and runs incentive competitions. He is also known for greatly impacting the world's leaders as the executive founder of Singularity University.
Diamandis has started more than 20 companies and is also the co-founder of a venture fund, BOLD Capital Partners. He has written two New York Times bestselling books.
Diamandis has been labeled by Fortune Magazine as one of the "World's 50 Greatest Leaders." He is a graduate of MIT and Harvard Medical School.
