Brian Forde Biography

Brian Forde is a US based businessman, entrepreneur, and politician. During President Barack Obama’s administration he was a senior advisor in the Office of Science and Technology Policy. He was in charge of running President Obama’s key initiatives such as TechHire and the Climate Data Initiative. Forde went on to work at MIT and became an influential figure in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. Forde graduated from UCLA with a BA and the London Business School with an MBA. In 2016, Forde ran in the Democratic Primary for the California 45th Congressional District but lost to Katie Porter, who eventually went on to win the general election.
