Evan Williams co-founded Pyra Labs, an organization responsible for making project management software. The term ‘blogger’ found its way into common speak from this ‘first of its kind’ web application for creating and managing blogs. Google eventually took over Pyra. Williams was part of Google until October 2004 and then left the company to co-found Odeo. Obvious Corp was co-founded in late 2006 by Williams, with former Odeo employees and Biz Stone. Previous properties of Odeo, like Twitter and Odeo, have since been acquired by Obvious Corp.p>
