Jeff Kaplan Biography

Born November 4th, 1972, Jeff Kaplan is an American video game designer and the current vice president of Blizzard Entertainment. Kaplan was born in New Jersey, and at an early age, he was an avid video game player. However, his lack of programming skills dissuaded him from pursuing a career in the video game industry. Jeff took a U-turn initially, got a degree in film and creative writing from New York University. Jeff redirected back to his dreams when he became involved in the massively multiplayer online game (MMO) Ever quest. From then on he joined a long list of online video games and became the lead designer at Blizzard for Warcraft 111. Jeff is the brain behind most popular video games such as Titan, overwatch, The Warcraft series.
