The Chinese firm is now worth a reported $45 billion. Other winning bets include social media company YY entertainment firm Phoenix New Media software maker Xunlei and mobile app company UCWeb. An electric engineer by training Richard heads Morningside's investments in the Internet media and entertainment and consumer sectors.
