Angelo Sotira is a US based entrepreneur who was born in 1981. Sotira founded the online art community deviantArt in August of 2000. He founded the community alongside Matthew Stephens and Scott Jarkoff. Angelo founded the company at the young age of 19, but he had prior experience with entrepreneurship. He also founded the music sharing company Dimension Music and his success with that platform allowed him to sell it to Michael Ovitz. Angelo spent a few years working for Ovitz at his artist management group and with his technology ventures. It was there at Angelo learned how to build a business and integrate various different applications. Sotira gives technology speeches on how art and technology come together.
